Set amongst the shimmering lagoon and the vast expanse of green are houses built in the traditional Kerala architecture. ‘Tharavadu’ and ‘Illam’ or ancestral homes have been painstakingly re-created to experience the rich culture that this place has to offer.

Seventeen such Illams have been built with all the modern amenities. The windows open to a haven of privacy, reposing in an ambience of solitude and exuding oneness with nature at her tranquil best. The soothing breeze whispering through swaying coconut palms, the chirping of birds and the gentle lapping of the backwaters. Truly a paradise on earth.

Open-air bathrooms provide a pleasant and unique bathing experience amidst the setting of nature. Fishing is a favourite pastime here.
